Row, Canoe, Sail, go to Surf Snowdonia, Swim, Kayak, the National White Water Rafting Centre, Gorge Walk, Fish, Windsurfing – are all in this magical part of a Wales!  Rowing crews from London Rowing Clubs, Durham University, Bristol University, Bedford Rowing Club, Shrewsbury School and Radley College stay with us and World Champion Toby Garbett has run training camps here.  We are just over the hill from Lake Vyrnwy.  It allows a safety boat (because Rowers don’t have buoyancy aids) and has a slipway to launch from.  Launch fees are currently £3 per person on the water each day. article on Rowing Camps at Lake Vyrnwy staying at  on Rowing on Lake Vyrnwy (click on image on right).
